Editorial policy

The genre, the sources, the corrections: the rules the reference is written by.

Genre: description, not instruction

Articles describe how tests and laboratory processes work: what is measured, where ranges come from, why numbers differ. The site does not publish instructions for self-treatment, dosages, or “what to take” recommendations — that is medical practice, and it belongs to the doctor's office.

Sources

Every factual statement rests on a source that an editor has opened and read. The hierarchy and the verification rules are set out in the sources policy. Pages whose sources have not yet been verified are listed in the editorial report.

No invented entities

The site has no invented authors, reviewers, ratings, or testimonials. Where drafting tools are used, a person checks the text before publication; the medical review status is stated openly on the Editorial page.

Independence

We do not accept sponsored materials, do not advertise laboratories, and do not sell placements. The site is funded by the project team and, in the future, by the app.

Corrections

An error report to editorial@medaiprotect.com is checked against the sources; confirmed errors are corrected with an updated date on the page.
